Business Development Manager -Media
A fast growing Midlands based visual media company requires a business development professional to assist with their acquisition of Medium/Large locally based clients.
The principle service offered is bespoke video content and the client list already includes many locally based multi nationals. Once the client is engaged the quality of the product will speak for itself, the challenge is to seek out the relevant client contacts and to create the opportunity for them to meet with the creative team.
This is not a hard target driven sales environment. It is about tailoring an approach and once a client is on board to sustain that relationship through account management.
Job Description Summary
• Reporting to Sales director
• Based in Midlands
• Generating leads from researched and appropriate ‘cold’ sources
• Following through incoming leads.
• Getting & fulfilling appointments with decision makers
• Following up as appropriate.
• Researching prospects with similar profile to existing areas of work.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a business to business sales environment. Likely previous experience may include:
• Media Production Sector:
• Marketing/Communications/Design Agencies:
• PR Agency
• Soft Service sales
• Legal will be salary based rather than commission and will reflect experience. The working environment is appealing and working hours are flexible,
