Position Required:Quality & Safety Manager

Reporting To:General Manager

Age Group: 40 – 50 years

Education:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Mechanical /
Maintenance/Construction in Oil & Gas, Refineries/Petrochemical Industries of which 3 to 5 years. should be in senior position.

KEY SPECIFICATIONS
–Able to organize and manage the department professionally & effectively.
–Self motivated and dynamic person with strong analytical skills. Excellent in Communication, English Language and Computer literate
–Excellent Knowledge of QA & Safety procedures.
–Member of Professional Institute and an IRCA registered Auditor (preferred).
–Additional certificates in the related field will be an added advantage.

SCOPE OF WORK
–Monitoring, Auditing and Reporting on the effectiveness of Quality & Safety Management System.

–Enhance and recommend Quality & Safety awareness/performance of company by providing solutions.

–Assure confidence to Customers for Quality & Safety matters and handle corrective / preventive actions for customer’s complaints.

–Review, prepare and implement the project QA & Safety Plan and ensure an effective quality management system with respect to companies and Contract requirements in the project.

–Supervise and provide necessary technical support to the staff in preparation of QA & Safety plans.

–Maintain registers of controlled documents and Safety statistics as per ISO 9001-2000.

–Responsible for the structure and day-to-day operation of the company Safety & Quality systems.

–Review and conduct Quality & Safety Training programs.

–Work experience with ISO 9001-2000 systems.

–Ability to establish, maintain and motivate effective working relationships within and outside the department.
