Family support worker

An exciting new opportunity has arisen in the South London area, for a Family Support worker. Candidates must have NVQ level 3 or above in a children and young people or a degree in a relevant social care area (such as Children and Families). Candidates must have a basic knowledge of word and email and be fully trained or have experience in the CareFirst system. Candidates will be running a program of one on one sessions with families and will often be working directly from the families homes. Knowledge of Mellow Parenting would be a benefit but is not essential. Experience of working with young children (aged 0-8) in a local authority setting would be favorable.
