Transport Planner

We are looking for a Senior Transport Planner to jbe based in Swindon.

In this role you will be Project Manager for a range of Local Authority Framework projects which will involve the mentoring, advising and reviewing of the work being undertaken by other project team members. Further responsibilities will include the writing of reports and providing technical input.

It is desirable that applicants have achieved a degree in a relevant discipline and have previous experience of working within transport planning/traffic engineering, along with project management experience. It would also be desirable for candidates to have an MSc in Transport Studies and Chartered Membership to a relevant organisation, with a track record of working with local authorities being desirable.

To be successful in this role you will need to be an approachable individual, with excellent communication skills who is committed to developing staff. You should be organised with a problem solving and proactive approach.
