Older Persons Social Worker- Essex

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Essex area within the Learning and Social Care department. The job will involve working with older people as a social worker and will be enabling clients live as independently as possible, with in their specific boundaries. Duties will include conducting assessments, designing care plans and providing emotional and practical support, advice, advocacy and counselling to service users. A Social work degree, DipSW, CQSW, CCETSW or any other GSCC recognised qualification is essential. Experience working with older people in a post qualifying statutory setting is desirable but not essential. However candidates must have experience working with older people and placement experience will be accepted.
