Team Support Secretary (part time)
We are seeking to recruit a part time Team Support Secretary in the Commercial Property Department.
Team Support Secretaries provide cover for sickness, holidays and any other absence and are expected to undertake full secretarial duties to fee earners from Solicitor to Partner level. The role of Support Secretary is extremely valuable and key to the consistent production of high quality secretarial support across the department and it is desirable that candidates possess excellent secretarial skills.
The work is varied and interesting and is not weighted towards simple correspondence or documents. There is a good mix of both. A high proportion of the work is audio typing but there may be an opportunity to work on complex documents, administrative tasks and production of tenders. Several of the fee earners work with a case management system and full training and support will be given on this.
The successful candidate will be organised, professional and have excellent communication skills both on the telephone and face to face. Adaptability and a flexible attitude are key skills for this role.
You should possess good IT skills in Word and Outlook and an accurate typing speed of at least 60 wpm. Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint would be desirable.
