Remortgage Paralegal

A vacancy has arisen for a Paralegal to join our clients busy Remortgage team.
The position would be suitable for someone who is keen to expand their knowledge within the Remortgage area. The work carried is specific to the lenders criteria and the aim is to complete a case within the timescales set by the lender. Along with this we also undertake additional services on behalf of borrowers as part of the remortgage transaction such as Transfers of Equity, Deed of Postponement and Staircasing. The successful applicant can expect challenge and variety in a busy but supportive team.
To provide legal services in a specialist practice area to clients of the Firm as requested.
The position will entail a large amount of client contact, sometimes involving difficult telephone conversations, so a confident telephone manner and good interpersonal skills are essential. In addition, the nature of the work requires someone with a methodical approach, an organised and analytical mind and solid IT skills.
Experience of the remortgage process would be beneficial but not essential, as full training will be given.
Candidates will possess excellent communication and organisation skills and be able to manager a high volume workload.
