Intellectual Property Solicitor

We are looking for an experienced Commercial lawyer with 2 - 5 years PQE gained within a major City or national / regional firm to undertake a full range of IP work based in Newcastle This team of specialist practitioners sits within our Commercial team.

The role will involve advising clients on the protection, exploitation and enforcement of intellectual property rights. It will involve a mix of contentious and non contentious work.

As part of a small but growing team, you will also be required to play a significant role in business development.

Our ideal candidate will have between two and five years' PQE, some of which is likely to have been gained in an established IP practice within a City or a national / regional firm.
Experience of portfolio management is desirable but not necessary. Similarly, a scientific background would be helpful but not essential.
