Commercial Property Solicitor

We are looking for Solicitors at all levels to join our clients Property department working in a well established and busy team.

The team acts for many high profile clients including national housebuilders, commercial developers and public sector bodies.

Based in the Newcastle office, these positions offer plenty of interesting and challenging opportunities for client contact, drafting documents and negotiating transactions on a mixture of commercial and residential work.

The core work comprises Building Licences/Development Agreements, Options to Purchase/Rights of Pre-emption, Freehold Transfers and Leases, Profit Shares/Overage Agreements, Forward Sales/Funding Agreements, Grant Agreements, Minerals and Waste Management. There is also support required for our large Plot Sales team dealing with residential estate set-ups.

Skills and experience required include thorough training gained within a City or regional firm and the desire and aptitude to undertake a wide range of challenging and varied work. Commercially aware and technically proficient, an ability to provide practical commercial solutions to a wide range of clients is essential for these roles.

There will be direct client contact from day one and the ability to communicate with clients is essential.
