Secretary


The successful applicant will be encouraged (with appropriate training) to proactively provide a high standard of office support through efficient administrative and secretarial duties.

The day-to-day work of the role will include general correspondence, diary management; planning and preparation for meetings, liaising with clients and other legal advisers. File management, file initiations and closures will also be a key element of this role. There is a requirement to work with large amended documents.

Applicants need to be able to demonstrate that they are exceptionally organised, able to work as part of a team and systematic in their approach to working.
We require a highly motivated secretary who is keen to take on additional responsibilities and who is confident in his or her own abilities, working on their own initiative.
Due to the client contact and the general nature of the role it is essential that you possess excellent communication skills, a calm and professional telephone manner and have the ability to take and relay detailed messages. With frequent deadlines to meet, we require applicants to show evidence of being highly organised with the ability to prioritise their own workload. Accurate typing speed of 60wpm together with knowledge of Microsoft Word at Intermediate level (minimum), a high level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail is crucial.
