Media Sales Executives
Our client, a well known organisation within Darlington, requires a Media sales Executive to work within one of their high profile sales teams.
The successful applicant will preferably have previous business to business sales experience, although this is not essential as full training will be provided. What you must have though is the motivation to work in a target driven environment.
Expected to present a professional approach at all times the role will include:
- Selling the benefits of advertising
- Canvassing all designated prospects
- Maintaining contact & establishing good relationships with all trade advertisers on the territory
- Developing new & existing accounts through research, planning & presenting sales ideas and advertising plans
- Keeping abreast of market trends and proactively contributing ideas to take advantage of such trends
- Ensure administration procedures surrounding all aspects of the role are carried out in line with Departmental and Company policy including
- Contribute to the team achievement & goals
- Liaise with and adhere to the procedures of other departments
- Swift action on and resolution of queries and maintain good levels of customer service at all times
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise, plan and meet expected standards/targets/deadlines and be capable of working on your own initiative.
You will have an excellent telephone manner, a good sense of humour, and be a committed team player.
