Domestic Violence Project Worker
The candidate must have experience of working with survivors of domestic violence at a crisis stage, providing crisis intervention in addition to a knowledge of the impact of domestic violence on survivors and their children. The candidate must also have experience of conducting risk assessments, safety planning and risk management as well as strong crisis management skills. An Accreditation/Qualification via CAADA IDVA Training Course would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will offer crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, information and support to all survivors where there has been a referral by the appropriate service. Further to this candidate will provide a service to survivors by conducting crisis intervention and liaising with housing, social services, Care line, support agencies and refuge to provide emergency housing if needed or secure properties under sanctuary.
