Schools substance misuse advisor

Experience working with children and families with substance misuse issues is essential. Experience delivering workshops with young persons would be a benefit.

A local service is looking for a schools substance misuse advisor to deliver substance misuse advice to young persons in a PHSE frame work. The role will require very strong knowledge of substance misuse and will involve attending sessions at a variety of school delivering information across the whole range of secondary school ages. While working in schools there will be a teacher present responsible for the children attending sessions.
