Experience performing case management on substance misuse clients is essential. Experience key working clients in a needle exchange giving harm minimisation advice essential. Group Work experience would be a benefit but not essential and the role would give the opportunity to gain this experience.

A local service is looking for a tier 2 drug and alcohol practitioner to work in tandem with a team to take on a case load of chaotic poly drug clients, performing assessments and designing care plans which will need to include referring into prescribing services and key working with harm minimisation advice. The role would involve group work but for those without the experience there would be the opportunity to co facilitate and gain this experience. The successful applicant would also be invited to apply for the role on a permanent basis. This role also offers flexible hours.
