Youth Offending Team Officer, London
The candidate must have knowledge of relevant legislation inclusive of the Children Act and Crime and Disorder Act 1998. Additionally the candidate must have a minimum of three months experience working within a YOT or with young people at risk.
The successful candidate will be working within a YOT managing youth offenders placed on supervision programmes in conjunction with attending YOS team meetings. The candidate will also conduct assessments in order to identify risk and protective factors as well as design and develop care plans. The promotion of social inclusion and the prevention of re-offending underpin all duties carried out by the candidate. Flexible hours are available and there is an opportunity to gain group work experience.
