Drugs Interventions Team Worker, London

Three months experience working within arrest referral is essential. Previous experience conducting assessments with substance misuse clients also essential. MET clearance is a benefit but not essential. Knowledge of all relevant legislation and drug intervention programmes would also be a benefit.

The candidate will be conducting initial assessments following an arrest in the custody suite within police stations with substance misuse clients. Clients will have tested positive on arrest and will have an initial assessment with a view to referring them into appropriate services.
