Drugs Worker

Experience carrying a caseload of young people with substance misuse issues is essential. Experience facilitating groups and key working around harm minimisation is essential. Knowledge of alternative therapies would be a benefit.

A well known substance misuse service is looking to take on a case load of substance misuse clients primarily teenage and young adults; carrying out assessments, signposting and designing care plans, taking referrals from diverse sources. The successful applicant will be tasked with running key work sessions with drug and alcohol clients giving them harm reduction advice. The role will also involve facilitating groups as well as giving the successful applicant chance to design and run their own groups.
