Family Centre Worker, London

A minimum one years experience working with children and their families in a statutory or voluntary setting is essential. The successful candidate must have a sound working knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and the Assessment Framework of CIN. Previous experience of supervised contact would be a benefit.

The candidate will be responsible for identification of and the reporting of any significant developments concerning the physical and emotional well being of children. In addition to carrying a case load of clients and conducting assessments the candidate will be required to supervise contact visits between children and their families. Following this the candidate may be directed by court to provide written reports for Court, Case Conferences and Case Reviews.
