Older Persons Social Worker - London

A temporary 6 month position has recently become available within the west London area. The vacancy will involve working with older people and social care experience in this area is essential. Social care qualification is essential and GSCC registered is required.

The job entails enabling clients to live as independently as possible and co-ordinating activities to meet the client's needs. You would be accountable for recording client information on the My Carefirst database as well assessing and applying whatever social work methods and techniques you deem relevant. My Carefirst knowledge is desirable but not essential. As well as this you would be expected to attend case conferences to share knowledge and give advice on particular clients.
