Qualified Counsellor

The successful applicant will be a qualified counsellor and registered with the BACP. It is also essential that you have experience of counselling clients with alcohol problems and knowledge of CBT, brief intervention and solution focused therapy. The role itself involves working in partnership with services within the Criminal Justice System and counselling alcohol clients. Duties include recording each counselling session, conducting assessments and writing care plans as well as reporting to the Offender Manager. The post is ideal for someone who is looking for part-time counselling work and who has a strong professional identity.
