Children's services Brokerage Officer

Knowledge of providers of young persons residential and support services in the London area essential. Experience working with looked after children or supporting young people essential. Statutory experience would be of benefit.

A local young persons service is looking for a children’s services broker to work to assist social workers in placing vulnerable children into a variety of services such as fostering, residential and supported housing. The successful applicant will be required to maintain the current data base and negotiate contracts with service providers on the council’s behalf. This role would be a great opportunity to gain statutory experience.
