Contracts & Estimation Manager

Position Required : Contracts & Estimation Manager

Reporting To : General Manager

Age Group : 35 – 45 Years

Education : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
MBA preferred.

Experience : Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in Mechanical /
Construction estimation for revamp / modifications,
Shut-downs in Oil & Gas, Refineries/Petrochemical
Industries of which 3 to 5 years should be in senior
position.

KEY SPECIFICATIONS
– Able to organize and manage the department professionally & effectively.
– Self motivated and dynamic person with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
– Proficient in English Language with knowledge of International Contracts subtlety, intricacies, and associated implications.
– Computer Literate preferred Primavera P3/ec and SAP system.
– Familiar with international codes / ASME Standards / B.S. Standards.
– Excellent Communication & Presentation skills with staff, clients and business related firms.

SCOPE OF WORK
– To manage the Estimation / Contract affair effectively.

– Arrange competitive bids in accordance with the tenders and realistic Project Planning.

– To provide support by preparing technical specifications to the Project execution Department.

– Review and recommend appropriate amendments to all sections of the formal bid packages to ensure clarity of requirements from legal, commercial and technical viewpoint.

– Proficient in evaluating and assembling of Bid data.

– Negotiating, administering and finalizing contracts with prospective Client for needed services as per the company procedures for successful Contracts.

– Ability to ensure compliance and to perform with constraints of contract terms and conditions with all applicable standards, regulations, and laws where applicable.

– Work experience with ISO 9001-2000 Company.

– Review and evaluate the legal aspect of contract and document.

– Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Multinational workforce at all levels.
