Manager - Pipeline Division

Position : Manager- Pipeline Division

Reporting to : General Manager

A)Age Group : 35 – 45 Years
Education : Graduate in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent

Experience : 10 Years of relevant experience in the Pipeline Construction Business with good exposure to Trenchless Pipe laying Techniques and 5 years should be at management level.

B)Key Specifications
Good knowledge in Trenchless Pipelaying Techniques such as Pipejacking, Auger boring, Micro Tunneling and Horizontal Directional Drilling.
Conclusive in negotiation skills (good listener).
Independent and autonomous person.
Excellent in writing and speaking English
Excellent managerial and communication skills

C)Scope of Work
Manage resources to realize the work, within budgetary constraint and available resources.
Contact with clients and prospective clients for acquisition of work.
Review and give judgment on invitation for tender.
Arrange for contract review, preparation, identification, panning and the execution of the work.
Delegation of the execution of project-or job related responsibilities in a formal manner.
Prepare approval and issue the required documents for the compilation of the invoice to client.
Verify subcontract invoices against the applicable requisitions.
Document and maintain vendor’s shortlist.
Prepare, maintain and report monthly and annual department budget.
Provide Finance department with the necessary information to facilitate the required financial reporting.
Implementation of ANABEEB’S quality and safety policy related procedures.
Initiate, verify and approve work procedures and related documents.
Arrange for yearly performance reports for all staff, inclusive the identification of training needs.
Meeting tasks and targets set for contracts.
Completing contracts (Projects/Job) in time in a profitable and safe manner while observing the quality system’s and client’s requirement.
Activities associated with the management team.
Meeting and promotion of team spirit and sound cooperation with other divisions.
Responsibility directly to the Deputy General Manager.
