We are looking for fully qualified QHSE professional’s who are highly motivated and who still have a long career ahead of them with 10 years experience in the field.

General QHSE

• To develop Managers’ awareness and ensure Quality and HSE are an integral part of Line Management responsibilities and objectives.
• To assist Management and Support Functions in:
- establishing, maintaining, implementing and improving the QHSE Management System.
- defining QHSE objectives.
- liaising with clients, third party subcontractors, and agencies regarding QHSE.
- assessing the local risks.
- generating local standards and procedures.
- preparing QHSE plans required to ensure optimum minimization of the above and compliance to policies, standards and procedures.
- implementing above plans.
- setting up the controls required to verify and ensure proper implementation and maintaining related records
- conducting Management review meetings to assess the effectiveness of the QHSE Management System and identify required improvements.
• To advise Management on corrective action required.
• To co-ordinate and actively participate in the screening and training of all personnel, including subcontractors.
• To keep abreast of any new development or policy related to QHSE and inform management accordingly
• To ensure that the relevant HSE documentation is readily available on the site.
• To advise Management on the compliance of the local HSE program with all local and national regulations of the host country
• To participate in liaising with third party subcontractors, clients and local agencies regarding HSE
• To actively follow-up on QHSE related subjects and participate in Quality and HSE audits and investigations of major failures and accidents
• To develop and maintain a high level of awareness among all personnel through communications, training, and active personal involvement of employees in Quality and HSE through prevention and reporting of nonconformities.
• To recommend changes to the HSE program

With this role comes financial decisions, you will help section staff make value for money decisions regarding all aspects of operations.
Client Care
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and ensure all juniors do likewise.
• Maintain good relations with clients and their representatives. Communicate regularly with crew clients and be involved in appraising them of all plans to obtain their buy in and involvement.

Quality Focus
• Regularly seek feedback from the people and sections who receive data or products from your section and incorporate this into operational procedures.
• Know all applicable standards concerning the work and ensure they are met and that exceptions are reported appropriately



Candidate
• Work is often outside in tough physical conditions, involving significant driving off road and supervision and coaching of others. Candidates should have experience in varied conditions and have demonstrated technical and managerial prowess in this position.
• Team working is central to progression on seismic crews where people live and work in close proximity. Candidates should be involved in team sports, be good communicators in English and possess sufficient affability / extrovert natures to become active crew members.
