Advertising Telesales Executive

An exciting opportunity to join a young and successful company has arisen for an enthusiastic telephone based sales professional. Based in the heart of Manchester, my client have traded since 2002 and have built up an impressive client portfolio, counting the likes of the MOD, NHS, local authorities and various blue chip organizations among others. The company provides published information in the form of magazines and periodicals targeted at the public sector. As a Telesales Representative in an already established close knit team, you will be motivated and focused on hitting your targets but eager to over achieve, possessing excellent closing skills and ideally have experience in a b2b media or advertising sales environment with a proven sales track record. The role involves sourcing your own sales leads and researching companies by industry category that would have a need to advertise to the chosen target audience, cold calling either senior managers or directors in mainly large blue chip organisations and pitching the benefits of using the company services. You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from initial research on the company you’re targeting to closing the deal on the phone and getting a signed order back. Initially the job will involve a lot of cold calling with the intention of building up a successful client portfolio. Due to the steady growth of the business there is potential for promotion within the company for the right individuals who can regularly demonstrate consistent target achievement. At this stage of the company’s growth they are hoping the drive the company forward to achieve maximum sales and product awareness and with this are looking to recruit an individual who will be as focused on their success as they are. The salary for this role of c£18,000 with an OTE of c£36k reflects how keen the company is to secure talented and reliable individuals.
