Drugs Worker for Lancashire Service (Substance Misuse)

6 months experience designing care plans and conducting assessments with substance misuse clients is essential. Knowledge of harm minimisation important. Knowledge of group work or needle exchange a benefit (opportunity to gain this knowledge if relevant). Professional qualification a benefit but not essential. This role involves a mixture of tier 2 and tier 3 work keyworking opiate clients, conducting assessments and care planning as well as helping to run health promotion groups. Opportunity also to do substitute prescribing.
