Technical Services Business Manager - to c.£48,000 plus executive package, car etc. Division of Consumer Goods Multinational – Midlands/Wales/E Anglia

A rare opportunity for a technically-trained, graduate calibre man manager to join one of Europe's most elite management academy organisations, with future prospects throughout this large and complex manufacturing and marketing organisation, but with an initial challenge responsible for the management of all directly customer-facing service and maintenance technicians responsible for electronically controlled point-of-sale systems and equipment. With either a personal background in electronic technology, or experience managing technical personnel, the key drivers here are team development and leadership, the ability to make staff feel included within the core business even when working remotely, maintaining service levels that are rated "exceptional" by the 90% of customers, and contributing new ideas and developing processes to a central European management team, as one of seven of its senior personnel. Candidates do not need to have led external teams of service personnel, but may have established the confidence to run this type of "business within a business" based on a career in a World Class manufacturing, Continuous Improvement environment, commercial, customer-facing responsibility, and real leadership skills.
