As the manager for a business unit within the UK operations of a multi-national industrial machinery manufacturer, with c. £8million sales in its own right, this role combines man management & technical ability with commercial acumen.

The position takes responsibility for the UK Service team… ensuring customer satisfaction for the whole after sales operation in the UK plus profitability for the division. It includes managing the objectives & targets of the team, as a whole & as individuals, developing customer relationships (travel required) and implementing operational improvements.

The ideal candidates will have an in-depth technical background in computer-controlled automation production machinery combined with strong man- management & customer facing skills, plus the commercial ability to control & develop a successful business unit.
