FINANCE MANAGER


The Finance & Accounting Shared Service Centre delivers a wide range of end to end processing services to multiple clients, including "Procurement to Payment", Hire to Retire (Payroll, Expenses); Accounting through Reporting (General Ledger Services); Order to Cash (Accounts Receivable). In addition to these we offer a number of industry specific services, and "Special Services" including Duplicate Payment Recovery.

Key responsibilities:
Working within the General Ledger process area, the postholder will be responsible for development projects and for the Business Service Management of the General Ledger service for the client.
Responsible for the delivery of the General Ledger service for the client. Planning and management of the defined service to contract terms. Meeting targets including budgets and client key performance indicators. Managing and motivating a delivery team. Managing the client relationship and ensuring a high level of customer service. Responsible for initiating and delivering continuous improvement initiatives within the service line.
Responsible for development projects within the General Ledger process area.

Person specification:
Recognised accounting qualification with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Strong leadership/people management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving, decision making, planning and prioritisation skills.
Shared Service Centre experience of planning/managing a service to contract terms.
