VB.Net/SQL Developer for pivotal new role in Surrey

VB.Net/SQL developers! Do you want to become the lead development resource for a rapidly expanding company? Our client is a growing professional services company who provide accounting software solutions and management consultancy to a range of businesses in the South East and they are specialists in their field of implementing solutions for the SME marketplace. Their product sits on SQL Server 2005 and is programmed in VB.Net. This is a pivotal role for an enthusiastic and experienced VB.Net/SQL developer to bring their development in-house for the first time and become the centralised developer for all their client requirements. You will need at least 12 months solid VB.Net/SQL programming skills and will have the opportunity to get involved in ASP.Net and C# in the future. Your role will encompass writing statements and triggers, script writing, report writing, stored procedures and bespoke VB.Net/SQL development. You should be able to work in a very structured way, be well organized and extremely thorough, and working for a consultancy, you must be credible when dealing with clients. Excellent training opportunities exist to develop your technical and consultancy skills and if you do not already have it, you will have the opportunity to work for your chosen certification.
