3G Nokia RAN Systems Introduction Engineer - *Up to £55K* + bonus + benefits *Work on emerging new technology*

My client, a leading mobile telecoms company, is looking for a UTRAN Systems Engineer with good knowledge of Nokia system architecture, 3G UMTS Radio and associated signalling protocols such as RANAP, RNSAP and NBAP, to join their RAN Engineering team due to network expansion.

You will verify the implementation of key network features and functionality during development phases, and support acceptance and integration testing for network implementation. You will also be responsible for verifying radio access performance according to KPIs and liaising with suppliers to ensure that agreed functional and scheduled targets are achieved. You will be able to learn and grow your project management and coordination skills
and gain experience in negotiation and stakeholder management.

The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of Nokia System architecture within a 3G UMTS RNS (Radio Network Subsystem), plus a good knowledge of mobile telecoms networks overall. You will also need a good appreciation of 3G UMTS technology and signalling protocols such as RANAP, RNSAP or NBAP.
