Trade Counter Supervisor

My client near the Barking,Essex area is looking for an experienced Trade Counter Supervisor /
Manager.

Your responsibilities will be to serve customers face to face and over the telephone, selling products to clients in the Construction industry. The trade counter duties will also involve handling cash sales and to provide excellent service. Excellent organisation skills are essential, with good communication skills.

My clients turnover at present is £1 million and the successful applicant will be very much involved taking it to £1.5 million.

Ideally you will have experience on a trade counter although this is not essential, a proven track record in a similar role will be required.

The successful applicant will be required to run the Trade Counter and to treat it like a stand alone business. My client is seeking a candidate
that will drive this business forward and to implement new ideas to increase sales. The supervising of staff will also be required.

This role is Monday to Friday only.

The offices have recently been refurbished and the trade counter is the biggest in the group.
