Compliance Officer ( Financial Services)


Field Compliance Manager
Based London

£25,000 base + Car + Benefits

Our Client is one of the world’s largest and most successful insurance and financial services organisation, with more than 85 years of experience and over 55 million customers.
They have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced field based compliance officer.
Purpose
This is primarily an on the road role with some office based work assisting the Training and Projects Manager. To assist the Training & Projects Manager in ensuring appropriate Compliance, Training & Competency standards are maintained
Main duties/accountabilities/key performance indicators
 To carry out on-site visits with the B2C team to ensure appropriate standards of compliant sales are maintained. These visits are to be done on a “weighted” call cycle according to Rep experience and ability
 To compile accurate reports of these visits for distribution to the B2C line managers
 To carry out regular audits of the B2B and B2C T&D folders and advise line managers of any remedial action required
 To carry out one general internal audit per year based on our VEB procedural guide
 To coordinate nominations for group central training courses and completion of key “on-line” training programmes such as “code of conduct” and “Ed-assess”
 To assist the Training and Projects Manager in the delivery of projects essential to the success of the VEB business

Technical skills & knowledge
 Good knowledge of Financial services compliance, processes and procedures
 PC literacy in Outlook, Word and Excel and Powerpoint
 Good knowledge of our regulatory responsibilities

Experience
Experience within the worksite marketing environment is a distinct advantage as is a knowledge of and practical experience within the insurance industry.
