Experience working with Young people and Children essential. Experience working in a statutory setting a benefit although this role offers the opportunity to gain statutory experience. An understanding of Safeguarding issues for young people a benefit.

A position has become available working as a social work assistant within a children & families setting in Essex. Working in a multi disciplinary service, duties will include liasing and referring clients into suitable other services, monitoring housing issues, and conducting initial assessments. Working in a small but very supportive team, the role may also involve behavioral support and working with children and young people.
