Central London Qualified Social Worker

An opportunity has arisen for a role as a qualified social worker working in Central London. A degree in social work, diploma in social work, CQSW, Masters in social work or other GSCC recognized qualification in social work is essential. Knowledge of the key legislation relevant to professional social work and the functions of a health and social care department is essential. You will be responsible for the implementation and co-ordination of complex assessments, the purchase of agreed packages of care, and the monitoring of service contracts in partnership with the client group and agencies and health professionals. The role will also be responsible for the provision of casework and other social work services. Knowledge of methods to plan and review services for the client group is essential. It is also essential to have knowledge of social diversity and equal opportunities and the ability to demonstrate this throughout all aspects of practice. You must also have experience of managing a complex case load and 2 – 4 years post-qualification social work experience.
