ELECTRONIC DESIGN ENGINEER - Berkshire
Salary: £30-32,000 pa (Depending on experience) + benefits including 4 weeks holiday (plus statutory bank holidays), contributory pension and relocation assistance if appropriate.

Our Client Company, a medium sized but very successful organisation based in Berkshire, undertake the design and manufacture of electronic products for the air conditioning industry worldwide

They have an opportunity for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to work in their Development Laboratory. Existing products encompass a wide range of temperature controls, condensate pumps, sensors and air movement controls, and is a worldwide supplier to the fast-growing air conditioning and refrigeration market.

Qualifications required:
• Ideally qualified to Degree or HND level in an appropriate Electrical or Electronic discipline
• Minimum three (preferably five) years experience in a similar design engineering role

Skills and Experience:
• Experience in the design of power electronics circuits and in the application of electronic control techniques to the measurement and control of relays/solid-state switching circuits.
• The ability to produce prototypes from your circuits and to establish test programmes to validate the correct operation, will be a part of this challenging position
• A knowledge of materials/mechanical engineering would also be an advantage, as is experience of SolidWorks and PCB design software, programming of PLC’s, PIC microprocessors, and international safety standards
