Storage Centre Relief Manager

Our client, one of the UK’s leading self storage companies is currently seeking a Relief Manager for their Storage Centres.

Based initially at Basingstoke but providing cover across other stores where required the primary expectations will be the growth of the existing business through direct sales, developing and implementing sales & marketing strategies through close working with the sales & marketing department, generating new business leads and coaching and motivating staff.

This is a new role but is expected to form an essential part in the continued success and future growth of the business.

The successful candidate will be expected to meet agreed financial targets and must possess excellent drive and determination as well as good business sense. We are able to consider applicants with relevant supervisory experience who wish to progress their careers to the next level.

Candidates also need to me fully PC conversant and used to using ‘EPOS’ with excellent cash handling experience and numerical skills, experienced in managing budgets, knowledge of health and safety procedures / regulations and with a sound understanding of payroll and banking procedures.

In the absence of the Centre Care Supervisor duties (or delegation of) will also include the cleaning / tidying / maintenance of the site and becoming part of the ‘on-call’ service.

Candidates must be prepared to travel and at times will be required to stay away overnight when covering leave or absence. Travel and essential accommodation expenses can be claimed back.

The ideal candidate will, as well as meeting the requirements as detailed also hold a current C/B FLT licence and a UK driving licence. (Own transport ideal) (Mileage paid).
