Alcohol Detox Nurse

Experience case managing substance misuse clients is essential. A nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) is essential. Experience with Librium is a benefit.

A local substance misuse service is looking for an alcohol detox nurse to join its team. The role will involve carrying a case load of clients with alcohol dependence and assisting in the designing of therapeutic care plans through the use of comprehensive assessments. The role will also involve working with GPs to prescribe substitute medication including Librium. This role may offer the opportunity to go on the nurse prescribers course.
