Qualified Social Worker- Child Safeguarding

Degree or Diploma in Social Work, or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential, as experience carrying out social work in a fast-paced statutory setting. This post will involve working with children subject to child protection plans, acting as a key worker in line with the London Child Protection guidelines. Duties will include carrying a caseload of vulnerable children, creating and reviewing child protection plans, providing reports for conference and court work. This post is with an East London social services department and offers competitive rates of pay and a long term contract. There is also the opportunity for work at a senior social worker level for an experienced candidate.
