Estimator

Our client is a Leading Engineering Contractor in the growing LNG Sector. They are seeking to recruit an Estimator on a full time, permanent basis although they will also consider an experienced interim candidate on a contract basis.

As a business – they provide a full EPC service to Oil and Gas Operators taking Conceptual Ideas through to Construction, Commissioning and Handover. Projects vary in size but are typically 2-5 years long and value at around £200-400 million.

They are currently looking to develop new business throughout the world and have existing on going contracts in the UK, India and Saudi Arabia.

They are looking for an Estimator to join their commercial team and assist with the pricing of new and ongoing contracts. The candidate will work very closely with the in house Engineering Department and the various Project Teams around the world.

The Ideal candidate will have previously worked in the Oil and Gas Industry in a similar role. However … candidates with a strong Estimating Background who are keen to establish themselves within the Oil and Gas Sector and can demonstrate and ability and willingness to learn will also be considered.

Candidates must have good general IT Skill and previous experience of Excel or similar spreadsheet software packages is essential.

Our client is interested in candidates of all levels – from people who are still developing as an estimator to very senior individuals that can hit the ground running.
