SAP ABAP PI Technical Developer

As a SAP ABAP PI Technical Developer with this end-user client in Hertfordshire you will be responsible for providing ABAP development support to their user community. You will be working closely with other development and support team members, implementation teams, service delivery managers and users to ensure that your new developments target the business need and are delivered in a timely and carefully managed manner.

The principal responsibilities of the role are the -
• Design, development and progression of new requests
• Cordination with other development teams and the user population
• Troubleshoot and coordinate support issues
• Perform root cause analysis and develop fixes
• Assist in training front-line help desk resources.
• Knowledge sharing/training within support team and business users
The role requires an experienced ABAP Developer with significant experience in (PI) Process Integration. Other skills will include idoc error investigation and resolution. In addition to your technical expertise you will have well developed interpersonal skills and will be an able and effective communicator. An awareness of the MM and SD modules would be advantageous.

Salary will vary with experience, but will be to £60,000 plus a significant benefits package. Furthermore this role is based on site and will not involve any significant travelling or working away from home.
