Alcohol Practitioner

Experience case managing alcohol clients is essential. Knowledge of substitute prescribing would be a benefit. A professional qualification (eg. RMN, RGN) would be a benefit.

A London service requires an experienced substance misuse practitioner to manage a caseload of 35 alcohol clients. Duties will include designing care plans and key working clients, advocating substitute prescriptions and liaising with the psychiatrist to ensure clients are titrated to the correct level with the overall aim of detoxification. There will be some work involving co-facilitating pre-detox group sessions, conducting triage and comprehensive initial assessments. This post would offer a good opportunity to gain statutory experience.
