Substance Misuse Prescribing Nurse

Job Title – Substance Misuse prescribing nurse - London


Qualified Prescribing Nurse Essential. Experience working with substance misuse clients is a benefit, however this post does offer the opportunity to gain work experience with clients who have drug and alcohol issues.

The role will involve prescribing, key working and care planning with clients on a one -2- one basis. The prescribing work will involve prescribing opiate substitutes, primarily Methadone and Subutex. Knowledge of Methadone and Subutex is not essential as training can be provided on these substances. The role will be based in a small and friendly team based in East London and also offers the opportunity of flexible hours.
