Qualified Social Worker- Referral & Assessment

Degree or Diploma in Social Work, or other GSCC recognised social work qualification is essential, as experience carrying out social work in a fast-paced statutory setting. Previous experience carrying out initial assessment work is a benefit, although there is the opportunity for this to be gained. This post will involve screening referrals and making initial assessments using the assessment framework. The worker will then establish care needs and co-ordinate arrangements to meet those needs. This post is with a South London borough which promotes career progression and offers a long term contract.
