Dentist

Due to expansion, An excellent opportunity has arisen for an
Associate/Performer Dentist with minimum 2 years experience for our client, this is a Mixed (NHS/Private) practice based in London.

Ideal candidate will be a team player who is punctual, reliable, and honest whilst offering a high quality of clinical work.
§ Position is 5 days per week for 37.5 hours, to start ASAP.
§ Contract is 5500 UDAs at £10.50 per UDA
§ Good Private potential
§ 50% deducted for lab
§ 4 weeks holiday
§ 3 surgeries-all fully computerized, digital x-rays.


Key responsibilities

1. You will usually be working as a salaried dentist providing dental services to a broad cross section of the general public.

2. In either setting you will be expected to offer a broad range of treatments. The position could be adapted to suit the clinical skills and interests of the applicant. Treatments provided would normally include:

Diagnosis and treatment planning (including radiography);
Conservation;
Prosthodontics;
Endodontics;
Periodontics;
Minor oral surgery (extractions);

3. You will also be expected to refer either within primary care or to secondary (hospital) care for more complex treatments.

4. You will work as part of a dental team, usually comprising dental nurses and dental hygienist.

Employment

6. You will be employed as a salaried dentist under a personal dental services contract .

7. The normal working week is from Monday to Friday: 9.00 to 05.30 pm (1 Hour Lunch Break). Some out of hours on-call work may be required depending on UDA target levels.


Qualifications/requirements

10. You must be a graduate in dentistry of one of the dental authorities, and must have a current full registration with the GDC.
11. Minimum of 2 Years work experience within UK NHS Dentistry.
11. You should be able to communicate orally with confidence, and relate well to patients.

12. You should be able to work as part of the dental team, and display a flexible approach to your work.

13. Keeping abreast of new developments through a structured continuous professional development (CPD) programme
14. Marketing services to potential clients.
