Qualified Social Worker Children and Families

Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or equivalent GSCC-recognised social work qualification is essential. Experience carrying out frontline social work (Referral and Assessment, Looked After Children, Child Protection) in a statutory setting is also essential. This post involves child and family social work including initial and core assessments as part of section 47 investigations, managing a complex caseload and court work including report writing. This post is with a social services team in East Lancashire and offers competitive pay and the potential for ongoing work.
