Test Team Lead

Member of the software Test team responsible for leading up to 10 member teams. The TTL will work closely with colleagues in Software development to ensure that a quality product is delivered to customers.

Role:
• Reviewing of requirement and functional
specifications
• Production of Test Strategy & Test Plan
based on the Requirements Specifications
and the Functional Specs
• Integration and system testing of the
product
• Assisting in the delivery of the product
[e.g. System Pre-configuration and Test
Checks]
• Performance Testing and Test Tools
implementation
• Development of quality procedures within
the organisation
• Documenting of Test objectives, Test
Cases, Test reports etc.

Skills critical for success:
• Diploma or Higher in a Software
Engineering or Electrical Engineering
discipline
• Previous experience in the Telecoms
industry
• Minimum 3 years experience in managing a
software test team, handling resources,
driving to milestones and gating the
release decision within Product
development.
• Experience in testing on a UNIX (Sun
Solaris) & Linux platforms is required
• Experience in Software Test procedures
• Experience in testing on Relational
Database platforms esp. SQL & SYBASE
Server
• Proven capability in MS Project and MS
Excel wrt Test Planning
• Experience in providing Test Metrics to m
management for large and small projects

Skills which will give an advantage:
• SS7 experience : Testing & configuring
site of Lab equipment
• Testing of Short Messaging SMPP products
experience
• Experience of INAP
CS-2/CAMEL/WIN/SIP/Diameter Testing
• Experience in Testing of Tariffing of
real-time calls
