Accounts Payable Clerk
Main Purpose of the Job: Processing of OPCO invoices for timely payment
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Open and distribute daily post
• Scanning and registering of daily post
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Liaise with business internally regarding invoices on hold
• Generate letters to suppliers
• Reconcile scanned invoice pool
• Liaise with business internally to assist with invoice query resolution
• Archiving
Skills Required: Essential:
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills, to include excel, word and outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A good level of numeracy
• Keen eye for detail
• Co-ordination skills between departments
• Ability to work to business timetables
• Flexibility to cover other areas as and when required
Skills Required : Desirable:
• Oracle Finance Experience
Education and/or experience: Desirable:
• Relevant experience within an accounts payable function
Working Arrangements (Need for travel etc.):
Office based in Basingstoke
Normal Working Hours:
37.5 –Monday to Friday
