Technical Architect/ Business Solutions - £55,000 - London

Job Purpose

To advise on the technical and functional aspects of the systems implementation, working closely with service managers, project managers and external suppliers to implement change maximizing benefit to the company. To identify, conceive, implement and deliver technical solutions in line with the corporate strategy

Responsibilities:

Produce technical and functional specifications
Develop Proof of Concepts
Manage developers to implement solutions or correct problems with current implementations.
Perform business analysis relating to company systems and define system requirements or identify technical solutions working closely and effectively with business owners, key business users, external contractors and 3rd party suppliers to ensure delivery of appropriate solutions of high quality that meet the business requirement.
Ensure that any new systems or infrastructure, or changes implemented, are fully tested, achieve justifying benefits, are delivered on time, are delivered within budget, are delivered with full and effective training, are delivered without disruption to the existing service and are effectively handed over to the relevant service team, service desk and 2nd line support.
Work in close partnership with support & operations, service teams and other project teams to ensure that the live service is protected at all times and that all projects are run as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Experience:


You will have a broad range of IT skills required over a number years working in either a technical architect or business analyst role; ideally working with .NET solutions.

Skills:

ASP.NET.
C# and VB.NET development.
SQL Server stored procedures.
Effective in dealing with individuals at all levels.
Good written & oral communication.
Time management skills.
Able to build and maintain strong working relationships.
Analytical skills
You will need to be a proactive individual, with a 'can-do' attitude and be resilient and calm under pressure. You will also need to be supportive and customer focused.
