Website Designer - Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash - £25k - £30k - Lon

My client is an established and expanding multi disciplined agency specialising in web design and development. They work in varied and exciting markets on a range of brands from SMEs to blue chip organisation and pride themselves on the creative work they achieve for their clients; be it websites, branding, ad campaigns, or print work.

They are looking for a creative and talented designer who can not only wow their clients with great concepts but also carry the design principles through to all the aspects of the web design process. The successful candidate will need to not only have a strong background in design and be a creative and conceptual thinker but also be aware of web technologies and have fantastic attention to detail. You will be working in Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash so you must have advanced skills in these areas.

You will be working within a creative and friendly team and be expected to contribute to all stages of the design process including brainstorms and concepts, designing and presenting, planning and testing, usability and accessibility.

They work across a wide range of markets such as fashion, sports, magazines, automotive and entertainment on a wide range of projects from consumer, ecommerce, corporate and business to business.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Agency experience.
Passion fort design and typography, a real visual communicator.
Related qualification to degree level or equivalent or above
Proven examples of creativity in web design.
Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator.
Knowledge of website usability and planning.
Competency in Flash.
An understanding of how HTML, CSS and PHP work.
Experience in print design and branding would be beneficial with a knowledge of creating print ready artwork.
Ability to take a brief and present design work to clients.
